I finished up my 36B today, well all except the hose and nozzle. I've got a white cloth hose coming that I think I'll put on it and I haven't felt like killing four hours polishing the nozzle yet. When I get those done and installed I'll post a pic of that side. The before pic has this pump and my 76, which is painted and slowly getting put back together. Give me another couple of weeks and I will post finished pics of it, I hope. I was pretty happy with the way the 36 turned out. It was a farm pump when found and thus the Pure block offs where the sight glasses should be. I kicked around putting a manifold and glasses back in it but I had never seen one exactly like this and I kinda liked the look. My camera doesn't take very good pics with the lights on but when the top and globe are lit up with the back light behind the Pure sign in the face plate it looks killer. Most everything on it is original save the ss trim and a few odds and ends. It was found with the original pump plates and ad glass still in it covered in blue paint. Since they had been painted for eons, all of the ad glasses cleaned up perfectly and have near new blue color. I had found the globe lenses before the pump and they are in a new body. Funny thing was, I was hoping to find a pump for the globe lenses and had no idea that this pump was a Pure pump when I went to look at it. Karma, I guess....GB

Nice job! Although their colors are duotone, I've always liked how the simple blue and white colors of PURE look on just about any pump.

Thanks for all the kind comments! Really means a lot from ya'll. Doin the 76 back as I found it in Sinclair HC. Only thing I added to it was a round HC decal on the doors below the RD-119 decal to give it a little more color on the white. I'm excited to get it done too as the paint on it turned out almost flawless and I've got stainless corner trim plus bit the bullet and had the original face plate trim rechromed instead of using repop ss. Should be a stunner when it's all done. It was actually as complete and original as the 36B so I wanted to keep it as is also.......stay tuned.
