I have read someplace that Texaco "NEVER" used a pump with the Ad Glass below the meter. Is this true of false.

I've bought pumps with glass below the meter and had Texaco ad glasses in them. Don't know if Texaco placed the pumps originally or converted the station after the pumps were installed. Lots of possibilities I guess. Would be interesting to know their "policy" at the time.
