hey guys I was wondering the diferance in a wide and narrow body globe ring. I have av orriginal that is supposidly a wide body steel 15". I also have a repo steel 15". The repo is at least 2" taller. so is it totaly a with thing? Is there a measurment that is pretty standard? Any info is appericated.

Brandon, "narrow" and "wide" bodies refer to glass bodied globes. You have 15" metal bodies which come in "low and high profile" bodies. The high profile will be taller. Also check the body opening where the lens will sit and make sure it is not 16 1/2 inches.
