Dick Bennett did the artwork for the V-R decals with my help.
I have only 1 piece of that completed artwork.

In all fairness, I consider it to be mine,
since I was never compensated for helping develop the artwork, nor was I compensated from any of their proceeds.
(He actually made me pay retail for decals when I needed some...LOL)

The decal is "THE HEAD FOR NUMBERS" silhouette with a computer face inside the head.
I don't have any plans on making decals, so I "gave" it to Ron Scobie.
It now belongs to him.

I do not have any other artwork or have any decals for sale, nor will I ever.
Someone who knows DB's wife needs to ask her about them.
I don't know her, and have no way to contact her.
Thanks
Joe

It seems like there would be a demand for those decals in this hobby. If no one is filling that void already, maybe all future decal sales could be coordinated by someone here on this site the proceeds going to OG as an on going legacy.

Joe,
What you emailed me is not good enough to make decals from.
At this time I have NO interest in making these.

Well, you heard it here first folks.
Unless someone else is going to make them , they are gone.
I am not going into the decal business.
Please pass the word on, I am getting way to many requests.
Thanks Guys
Joe

I can recreate anything you need. I just need good reference and overall dimensions.

I never made any of these 'cuz DB was already producing them. I don't even have any reference.

If someone would be so kind as to send me high quality digital reference and the overall height and width of an original, I'll recreate the art and have it available for anyone that needs it.

I'll even give Joe and Tom a price break since they do so many rebuilds. LOL!

Later . . .

Jim,

Dick made me a run of about every style. If I sent you one of each of his, can you make them? I don't know if you can copy a copy. They are nice.

Tom.

Tom:
Go ahead and send me what you have. I will recreate them in my computer. Scans don't really print that nice - so I'd rather have vector art I can manipulate as needed.
The address is on our web site in the 'Contact' section.
Thanks!

If someone would post of picture of any Veeder-Root decal I will look through my V/R literature and see if any of them are shown. I am not interested in making any, so if you want, put a watermark/anything on it that you wish, I just need to know what I am looking for.

Jack, here is a picture of all the VR decals that Dick made. This is from a post he put up after he started making them that I ran on to a while back and saved for reference. I doubt it's good enough for Jim to use for art but will give you something to go by if you're looking through literature for something better....GB

Those are the ones I helped DB develop by sending him pictures, other people helped as well.
I remember one guy in Canada coming out with a good copy of #5 and I supplied pictures of the band and Variator,
and DB put all these together to make #5. I helped him date them and categorize them so they are pretty accurate as to what year they were used.
I know he got 1, 2, 3, Pictures for #5, 9, & 10 from me. I make no claims....for $$$ It's just my contribution for historical accuracy smile
