I see that now the two are one, wonder what this will mean except for a higher price on items.

wondering when that was going to happen... certainly not a surprise. Proxibid is easily the best online medium to use for live auctions... sites like auctionzip, liveauctioneers, etc. dont come close to the friendly interface of proxibid. as soon as I saw ebay trying to enter the live auction market about 6-months ago, I figured a merger was on the horizon.

At this time they are only partnering on equipment, cars and other large auctions. Smaller categories like signs are currently not partnered from what I understand. It seems the intention is for an expansion at some point if this part goes well.

At least in the short term it shouldn't have any impact on most signs or petroliana prices in my opinion.
