down In Norfolk for the week...and don't have my pump book with me. I need the blue and yellow paint codes for Sunoco. anyone have the book near by that can look them up for me? thanks, chuck

From Gas Pump Collectors guide, old PPG/Ditzler. Blue 10339 Yellow 80248.
Seem to remember there are other codes available but don't know in which book... br Claes

is that the dark blue or the lighter blue that you sometimes see? I personally prefer the darker.

I tried to cross those two numbers from the book and got nada. I'm gonna need the dark blue and the yellow myself for my MS70 before too long and would like to have the codes as a place to start. I've got a couple of yellow globe bodies but they are both a little different shade of yellow.

I ran the Blue code on Paintref.com and it was at least the older (possibly darker) shade, 1950. Unfortunately no other codes showed up...was called "Dairymans Blue"...

Shervin-Williams Sunoco Blue is listed as 42294. Other blue is listed as Blender Blue 5955...
Maybe that code is better/possible to mix than PPG? //Claes

I used a base coat/clear coat product from PPG.
Paint codes are: MBP 16138 Capital Blue (OEM code B38, B-38) MBP 88162 Sunoco Fleet Yellow

i got a bunch of paint codes from a body man that used to work for vintage vending a restoration co. i used paint code #83409 on my globe body and price sign sign
collect jenney, independent oil co. , underhay oil co , valora motor oil and other massachusetts brands.
