Anybody got any info/pictures on wayne 72 pump. I know a guy who just bought 3 of them.

My post was not 100% correct. This turns out to be a Wayne 72R. Anybody know about these?

When I first posted a picture of the 72R nobody had ever seen one. I can't belive that somebody found three of them. He certainly won't have any shortage of buyers.

The original design patent for this pump was issued to the Firestone company. My assumption is that they were made by Wayne for Firestone, used originally at Firestone stores, then sold to anyone who wanted them.

While looking for something else I stumbled on my Firestone atlas from 1946 and on the inside cover is an illistration of a firestone store with three of these pumps on the island. I thought it was interesting.
