Some of you folks might remember all the Texaco signs I was finding awhile back. This photo was taken the day all the signs, cans, etc arrived by plane. If you happen to have one of my signs it rode in on this plane way back when. Always good to add history with an item.

The Socony station I've shown before but this photo is from a different angle.

Ed you following me?lol Haven't been hiding..more like lurking...been using that "F" word again. Oldgas is the only petro site I'm a member of other than a facebook group & I only posted two items over there. Not really a fan of facebook, But there is alot of good info to be found on it. Sorry to say I haven't had much other than black n white photos to share. I did find an early Standard Oil/Polarine sign, But its rough...was tin not porcelain. Haven't found much of anything good in awhile now.

Not sure if this pic is authentic or not.
Kinda looks like a modern day museum of sorts.

Yeah I think it is a museum as well. Look at the rust and condition of the pumps.

Plus they wouldn't have used the white porcelain tanker letters on the front of the station. IMO, would have been red letters with Texaco stars.

That picture is in one of the earlier books. It is, indeed (or was) an operational station at the time that picture was taken. As I remember it, the old guy had been running it for eons.

Dad kickin it back beside the station around 1967. It's blurry but check out the brown uniform.

The orange building behind him is the old ice block house.
