If you buy it for $5K and go pick it up with cash he makes an additional $600+ above what he would if he paid ebay and paypal fees! Smart cookie...

Sounds like a crook to me...I reported the item for attempting to avoid e-Bay fee's. Wonder, if e-Bay will let this auction run it's full course like all the fake signs that are reported.

Agreed. I reported the auction as well. You can't list it as an auction and then tell the winning bidder that the real price is $5K. What a joke.

Maybe ebay will shut him down as they like their $$$ but im thinkin it will be all over before the wheels of justice prevail........ but he wont get away with it again I bet!

Now that is just plain weird. I don't know who would go for doing a deal like that, even if they really really wanted the sign. Wouldn't deal with that guy with a ten foot pole!

I'm surprised that this listing is still up. I guess, e-Bay simply doesn't have enough resources to pursue all the items that are reported.
