Not sure if this answer relates to this cap?...
But, a number of Company's would have Soda Give-aways; such as buy "X amount" of gallons of Gas and/or get an oil change; get a free 6 pack...
The Flying A Station I worked at, with other Stations in our Region (Portland OR Regional Office for NW OR/SW WA Region) would have such promotions... The bottle caps had the Flying A logo on them....

Steve, at one time I had a couple dozen of them... But through the years (close to 50 years) they have been lost... But, I do have a Christy Dry Gas can that was sold through Flying A Stations with one of the "special promotional" caps on it...
