Thanks for adding the picture of the Wadhams globes Jim. I've never seen a Wadhams globe with lights at the top.

Les, is the Blue Seal illuminated on one side only?

Nicole the "doohickey" looks like a light shade. The light probably shone on the building.

I'm sorry, if I did something wrong that was not the intent. I just happened on the thread and had something close for reference. The blue seal is lite on both sides as the 2 cents globe. Agin I was only showing close reference.

You didn't do anything wrong Les. Sometimes we stray from the original topic. In this case we got to see some really rare globes.

Bob- not at all-thats why I posted it as its something we dont often see and as an added bonus we get to check out some more very cool bodies and lenses. I figure they were probably steel lenses in the first photo-just guessing. Thanks for sharing those Done4.

I owned one about two years ago, sold it at Iowa. Was a independent red ball. Concave painted tin lenses.
