...'eat-up' with computer type...and the original signs are 18" x 22"...photos below are from a recent eBay listing (left), and an original sign in a friend's collection (right)...note the many inconsistencies...BTW, the fake sign sold for over $350 frown ...



Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

That sign is a $100.00 outside piece. You won't cry when it walks away, but it looks pretty good until it does.

...unfortunately, the sign maker doesn't share your opinion...they wanted big money, so they didn't mark them with a date - they used an old sign maker's name (on the back side of the flange) to try and fool people...and it's worked, hence the $350+ sale price...the one in the link above has been smacked with a rock and rusted, making it even worse...
