I first noticed this place around 15 years ago while driving down a rural route in New Hampshire. It was cool to see a garage with the original pumps and air tower still sitting out in the wild. Last year I drove by and was sad to see the pumps were gone. I tracked down the owner and tried to buy the ECO 38 but could not get a deal completed. I was able to leave my phone number though. A few weeks ago I got a call from the owner and was able to iron out the deal. Today my son and I went to get it. It was so much easier than removing a gas pump! I'm not sure if I'm going to leave it as is or restore it.If anyone has a used lower scuff plate or a rear lower access cover for sale please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks Bob, I try to bring my son on all these adventures. I'm confident he'll never get another chance to remove a 38 from it's original location so I was sure to put him to work removing it. And Sid, the asking price on the sign, pole, and lights was way more than I could afford. The air meter was all I could stretch.

Good for you Brian, I too have made several stops at that place thru the years, always a unique crew there and I was told they would only trade if I found them an Edsel sign.
