I was lucky enough to get this Stellar globe from Kyles collection at Morphy's. I do believe this to be an early Stellarene Company globe from Montana. The similarities to the sign are just too close for it not to be, along with the fact that Kyle did ALOT of picking in Montana. I can attest to that, as I have run into a lot of the guys he bought from...lol
Wanted early tin litho signage. petro, farm, auto, etc.

Picked up another Clean Rest Rooms sign for the collection. There are at least three versions with minor differences. This one has the word Sinclair at the bottom in italics instead of block letters. There are similar HC globes and Marine globes with both block letter and italics versions. Probably from the 1960s.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Very nice Mark. Is that from the 1920s? ...I'm thinking early 1930's - the car looks a lot like those in a 1933 Gulf Racing Review I have...
