I picked this up at an estate sale today. It is 2" diameter X 2.8125" tall. Painted gold. Mobil sticker. I believe the drum is made from aluminum. Has a 1/2" plastic plug in the top and there appears to be oil in it. It doesn't look to have ever been opened. Can anyone tell me more about it?

thanks

And, I haven't either. It's interesting that there's no advertising copy on the drum promoting the "glories" of the oil inside, or noting the celebration of an event like a refinery open house. Thanks for sharing. John
