As usual Seth says he's way behind. He has a large number of items to pick up at Columbia so he can't take pictures until after that. He "thinks" the catalog will go out the 1st.

Schedule is the same as it's been for the last 10 years....brochure around the 1st of February, full catalog up on the internet shortly there after. I'm not behind at all. Columbia being a week later than normal cramps my style somewhat because generally 15-20% of the consignments are picked up from consignors there. Anyway, just wanted to set the record straight that I'm not WAY behind (nor have I told anyone that I am), rather, I'm right on schedule.

Seth, to set the record straight, that was not meant as a SLAM. Seth has to basically work alone and does not run,or try to run, a "glittzy" auction. He dosen't have all the high priced help running around, it's basically a family edeavor. The auctions are just plain fun, countryfied (is that a word) and always some good buys. I've attended every auction for the past 10 years and alwasy come away with some goodies. Don't miss this one if you can make it. You will see many faces and names from collecting and from ebay.

All's well Ray....pressure starts to get to me this time of year, ya know?? Had a horrific restaurant experience right before I made that post so I probably wasn't in the best frame of mind. Thanks for the kind words, I look forward to seeing you & Mary Sue and Cookie & Randy.

Well...left Wednesday night at about 10PM, drove all night to Southern Illinois, picked up about 50 lots for the auction, slammed the trailer door and hoofed it to Columbia and picked up about 50 more. Was a wild, snowy 48 hours and when I got home last night, I actually don't even remember getting in bed!! But...as you will soon see, it was worth it:

Correction Big Ray....brochures are gone, 21,000 went out first class on Monday. Bidspotter should have something up by the weekend. I am so excited about the line-up of pumps we have. Wayne 50, Wayne 60 Showcase, 3 Tok 850's, 2 Tok 36Bs, 2 Mae Wests, 2 Islanders, and much, much more. I've been pulling stuff out for the Friday Nite Warm-Up Auction, which will be on bidspotter this year. I'm gonna sell a complete, awesome station-lighter, some unrestored traffic lights, some lubesters, a bunch of oil cans, a Tok 36 unrestored, a GB 96B unrestored, a MS 80 script-top unrestored, and I'm still looking around!!

Just detailing this guy up today...not crazy about the 1pc repo Gulf globe, but I couldn't think of anything else. Anybody got any suggestions?? Anyway, I'm thinking awfully hard about draining a kid or two's college-fund and making this one mine
