Well I stopped watching Morphy's on the fantasy channel and switched to the reality show called NFL Super Bowl tournament. So far two exciting finishes and one blow out. Amazing loss of composure in Cinci to give Pittsburgh the win. My favorite sight in the Viking Seattle game was watching Bud Grant, at 88 years of age, come out in a golf shirt to do the coin toss at -6F as if it was the 1960's in the old Met stadium. When Bud Grant moved his coaching staff in 1967 from Winnipeg and the CFL to the NFL so did my football viewing habits. Tough loss for the Vikes. Should be more good games to come.

Well next week should be good for entertainment. Any news on Roethlisberger's shoulder? If he is not playing, Denver gets a free pass.

Some interesting injury developments will make for closer games this weekend. Gronk is out I hear and Ben has his sore throwing shoulder. Carolina is looking good. Arizona and Seattle should be the closest game I think. Get your drinks and chips and have a good football weekend. Its too cold to be outside here, so i am watching the games.

My oh my that has got to be the most exciting last quarter of any game-ever. Well you would never expect two games in one season to end favorably on hail Mary throws for GB and it didn't. But what drama. Hopefully tomorrows games are as good.

That certainly wasn't the packer team from three weeks ago. Wow what a game, wish the outcome would have been different but that is why they play the game. Hats off to both teams , definetly one for the record books!!!

I was at the Patriots/Chiefs game yesterday, another good game. I have to say the many Chief fans in attendance were very colorfully dressed with full headdress and all, what a classy bunch of fans and very friendly. Wish some of the Patriots fans were that classy. I never thought I'd say this, but GO PITTSBURG!

I love KC,but couldn't believe how open Gronkowski was. All KC defenders looked like lil boys in size next to him. Go Denver!.

Broncos and Carolina would be a great match up. Go Broncos since the Bears have been DOA

Well the w/e is here. My prognostications, since my Raiders like the Bears, are dead in the water, can be said without bias. Well OK I like the Patriots too. NE beats wimpy armed Manning and gets revenge, sort of, on the other Manning. Even the threat of snow confuses Carson Palmer and Carolina gets to sing like Neil Diamond all the way to Super Bowl Sunday. But most of all hopefully both games are as interesting as GB vs Arizona was.

Gotta go with Denver as Cold Pizza says. Also can't believe the points given NC. Somebody in LV must know something I don't know.

Congrats to the Denver Broncos on defeating the Patsies. And oh my,way to go North Carolina for scoring again...and just recovered a fumble too. As I said before, how in the world can N.C. only be favored by 3?...haven't the odds makers been watching them this year?

Well Cam's the man and Carson is not (today). Wonder what the spread will be for the game. I would think it'll be more than 7 to start the two weeks of speculation before the game.

At least the Carolina/Arizona game is an exciting game to watch, 2 great teams that are playing to win. There was not one exiting moment from either the Patriots or Broncos, a very boring game.

Experience vs. Youth.39 years old vs. 26 years old. Never before have 2 SB quarterbacks had so many years dividing them.

Well the big one is tomorrow. Does this SB have the least amount of hype around it? There's more on Johnny FB than the game. Well I've sold Carolina short most of the season and Denver has had some mighty disappointing SB performances. So I am going with Carolina and hoping that the game is more entertaining than SB 50-2=48, when Denver was clobbered by Seattle.

A friend of mine asked me to come to their house to watch it but I declined her offer. Told her if things get to bad I would rather go out to my shop and work on something I enjoyed. Mitch

Nice way for Peyton to finish his career. Hopefully he goes out on a high (pun intended) like his Boss. Ends all the speculation which always is punctuated by.... but he only won one SB.... Good win for defence, again, and for the AFC, which I thought was seen as the weaker sister this year.

Denvers' front four Defensive linemen in particular all deserve MVP in my book.I haven't seen a more dominant defense in the SuperBowl since the '85 Bears. Cam Newton was sacked 7X...The Chicago Bears did the same. Watch the replays and see Carolinas offensive linemen all get pushed back on their heels as the pocket collapses. That's where the game is decided...amazing Defense!

Rick I thought Carolina's win over Seattle's top defence would translate to handling Denver's-but how did that work out!? I agree with your observations. It was neat to see Miller drop back and cover a wide receiver and do a good job. It is nice to see the D triumph again.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (6–2) have won the most Super Bowls, followed by the New England Patriots (5–4),the Dallas Cowboys (5–3),and the San Francisco 49ers (5–1) have five wins. So Philly is really defending their states (Steelers) record Sunday. ...C'mon Philadelphia Eagles.

I'm a lifelong Patriots fan, but will tip my cap to the Eagles. Absolutely the most entertaining Super Bowl ever from a football fans perspective (not from a Pats fan point of view however). Philly made a big play when they needed it and New England didn't.

Just heard on the radio that Gronkowski's house was broken into while he was playing the Super Bowl, since they knew he was gone. Multiple safes broken into/stolen and guns.
Bunch of thugs.
