Rex hasn't posted for a couple of days. I was wondering if he was OK. Then I got an email from Shop Talk Field Reporter Jarvis tonight. John sent this picture and report:

Rex Benson was recently seen at the local Chevrolet dealer in downtown Owenton,Kentucky. Nita,Rex's wife, had suggested that they purchase a Suburban when they were shopping for their last vehicle. Well Rex went ahead and bought a smaller Tahoe. He always has trouble fitting everything in it after a petro show. It looks as if Rex has finally figured out that Nita was right and is out shopping for a Suburban.


(This is only a joke at Rex's expense, and is in no way meant to hurt Nita. She is a wonderful person that I'm proud to call my friend...so is Rex...but he was in on that prank JJ pulled on me. HAHA)

You guys are gonna LOVE having Hubba back there!!!!!!! Can hardly wait to see the pictures! No way are you guys goofier than us west coast guys!!! I think we have a patent on it!!!!! Rex, listen to your wife, buy the BIG DOG!!!!!! (and then maybe a nice, big enclosed trailer, too!! I might come back there to a show sometime & you could haul my stuff too!!)

Hey Bob, I'll be there. Hope to meet up with you again, also Jim and Jarvis if he's going. Who could miss the opportunity of meeting the world famous HUBBA - can't wait.
Rex, hope to see you there as well as everyone else.

I'll be there......it's my first visit, which is always exciting. Hear nothing but good things about the show....plus I'll get to see Rex's dog again....that's always a highlight for me!!

hey guys, count me in. i was gonna head up for the auction, but think i will just make late saturday so i can be there sunday for the show, not sure what time we will roll in, but if there is a hotel bar close, thats where you will find us!!!....lol i should have the raffle tickets printed for the pump raffle to.

Is the show open to buyers on Saturday? I would like to go but cant be there on Sunday.

Jeff Saturday was always for vendors,I saw on the flyer this year its $50.00 if you want to get in during set-up.Its $70.00 to set-up they raised the prices this year.
