Sun is out! Snow is gone. 29.2 inches in Severn, Md. I think it is a new record. All I know is that I'll be digging out for most of the day. Stay dry and warm. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Me too! Not as much snow here, but with the drifts over the driveway, who knows how deep it is there. Old fashioned shovel digging is what most Marylanders will do as snow blowers are not a common piece of equipment in Maryland...
I'll be doing the digging but will pace myself--half hour here, half hour there. But after spending all day inside yesterday, I plan to enjoy it!
Bob is temporarily out of commission, so it's just me and and Mr. Big Foot (my snow shovels name).
And yes, I really wish Egor could join us. Too bad he's under the weather himself Mr. Shortleg...

Hello All, Take is easy digging out, all of those that had the snow. It's a pretty stressful job for most anybody! Like Nicole said, a little at a time does it. I awoke to a nice sunrise this morning, pretty enough to try and capture it in a picture. Today is supposed to be partly sunny with a high of 32 degrees. I got up early to get ready to head to the Ann Arbor Record Show, hoping to add something to my Motown record collection. It's getting tougher to do with over 800 records now. Have a good day all, Darin

The wife and I just talked to our son who is in Devils Lake ND. helping build a hotel. He said it's warm today somewhere in the teens. He says there is a lot of ice fishing going. He's staying in a house/cabin on the lake with 3 other guys. He wanted to know when we were coming to visit and I said I'll see you in July.

Pretty good for a old washed up quaterback huh! Denver defense was the key! Great come back story if they win the superbowl.

Wonderful and clever! Here the snow is layers powder and ice, so no sculptures even if I wasn't too sore to do any...LOL
