I have not seen any notification on here regarding the passing of Lee Pergle. He died last year on December 24th. I'm sure almost everyone here has seen some of the reproduction gasoline globe lenses he was responsible for. A very colorful fellow to say the least. Later . . . Jim Obilt is listed here: Pergle Obit:

Sad to see that. Does this affect the Pergl business operations?

Back many years ago when I first started collecting petro stuff, (no internet, books or anything on the market yet at that time) I ran into Chuck and Lee at Carlisle, Pa. show. I was amazed to see the 'new to me' reproduction globes available then. I had a few originals, but fell in love with the repros and bought some to top off my pumps. They were about the only ones selling them. This was in the early 70's. I lost personal contact with them over the years though. Lee will be missed.
