Sorry guys Ive tried to do the leg work and Im coming up empty. Just doing a rustoration by brush. In the back of PCM pump resto book I get a Sherman Williams Code of 38805 for the orange and 1738 for the black. I spoke with a paint rep at HD and nothing came up under those codes. Also did a google search with no success. Any help would be appreciated
Mainly focused on Oilzum, Jenney, Harris Oil items & original paint gas pumps.

HD sells house paint. The code you have is an automotive paint code.

Well that makes more sense I guess. Seeing as I was painting it by brush for a natural rusto look and it's staying inside I was just planning to use an outdoor house paint.

Eric, it is always better to match your paint to an item that is going to be used on the pump; such as a: decal, pump plate and/or globe...
That way if they are off any at all? It won't be as noticeable once the paint is added...

Most of the Sherwin Williams codes are no good anymore as they re did their whole color library about 15 years ago. Sometimes Napa can convert the numbers because Martin Senour is made by SW.
Thanks Mike
Always Looking for any Pure Oil and Sunoco Items.
