40+ Gas / Oil & Other Signs + Unusual Visible Gas Pump For Sale

My name is Don Creekmore and I have been an OldGas member since 2002. Since then I have posted on the rare occasion and dabbled in porcelain signs and antique gas pumps. In 2005 I started a company called Nation’s Attic – www.nationsattic.com that specializes in antique slot machines. During that time the company grew and expanded into antique diving helmets and WWII flight jackets. This year we have made the leap into vintage advertising and gas pumps – www.gasoilsigns.com

We are located in Wichita, KS and have a shop near the downtown area. We are a full time corporation and have an A+ rating with the BBB and are available just about anytime to help load up larger signs or gas pumps. We can also ship just about anything. We have shipped valuable antiques world wide for the last 10 years and know how to pack them properly.

That's a fake sign...funny, none of the pages of signs for sale come up, but all of the pages listing what they buy come up just fine

I will defer to the expertise of fellow members and have indicated on the site the Polly and Sinclair No Smoking signs as contemporary. The OK sign certainly looks good, is this size not one that was ever made? By no means we do not want to pass something off as authentic when it is not. Thanks! Don

Pepsi signs are questionable -To me anyways. As well as others.

I appreciate the expertise - certainly a learning experience. Just removed those from the list and will take them off the site as well.

Don is a friend and stand up guy. I know he would not intentionally misrepresent signs. If anyone feels a sign he has is not original please pm or email him and as he has shown he will take action. If anyone needs an early slot machine restored Don does an excellent job.

don is not listing some fakes on purpose , he is honest and learning what is real and not . he is a honest guy , and will listen to all the experience here and pull them as soon as he knows ,,

Excellent - thank you for the update! While packing / crating isn't any fun, doing it correctly is a necessary part of doing business around the world and making sure the customer is happy.

As for the reproductions, darn things were mixed into a collection we purchased. Like any collecting field there is a learning curve and that education usually costs some money along the way.

Thank you! We picked up a collection and those signs were "strategically" mixed in. While I felt like a *****, the learning experience of handling them and having OldGas members share with me the details is worth a lot more than the total loss I took on them. I look at like paying for a semester at the University of Vintage Gas Signs & Pumps.
