The May Brimfield starts next week, does anyone know if and where the Petroliana might be? I've never been, I reached out to the organizer to see if there was a specific area, which thee isn't. I'm only interested in signs, and trying to decide if its worth bothering to go. I sadly don't have the time to take on the whole show, so would need a focus to justify making the trip.

off the main road take a right, or a left depending on which way you came in, at the 3rd field, wait maybe the fifth, then walk about 460 paces and look to the ground under the table.

Joking aside thats about what you have to do, go there and walk and hope your the first of the 650 guys there looking for the same sign. They could be scattered anywhere.

I go every year - it's definitely a mix so you need a whole day to see it all. Shaun are you there just Tuesday?

Give me a break !!!!!! You live in Ma. Go and explore and enjoy the week. You never know what you might find. I will be in Central Park. I am bringing a M&S 70, five gas pump globes, several sets of lens, a bunch of oil cans and a ton of smalls along with general antiques.

Henry I hope you'll have enough time for some of your good pictures. It sounds like you'll be a little busy.

I lived in Ma. for fifteen years. Before I moved to Va. I went to Brimfield, I only had an hour to look. Now I drive seven hundred miles every year to go to this show. At first I only caught the shows, late in the week because I was working, now I go early. Over the weekend before Brimfield there is a flea market on Rt. 20w toward Palmer and yard sales as well.
I like the first two shows on Tuesday the most then the Mayfair show later in the week. The stuff is there but you have to find it but that is what makes this hobby fun. The people and the hunt !!! Here is some of the petro I will have. Come find some treasures and ask questions, others will tell you where to look.

I show up about 6 am. to get a good parking space. The show is made up of many shows. Some shows are open from Tuesday thru Sunday, like Central Park. Others are only open for a few hours then people are packing up and some moving to other shows. As a whole the individual shows work there way down Rt.20 from West to East with others open all the time.

Thank you everyone for the insight.

Well my reality is, it's a 4 hour round trip, with my work, and life, I would have only one day. The "week" is not happening.
