Rare, hard to come by Guide Lamp Corp, division of General Motors "Check your Lights" Lighthouse flange sign. Heavy shelving for a painted sign with great color and graphics! Sign measures 13" x 18" and is marked AM-3-40.

Sign Background: The way I understand it is Guide Lamp Co. released the first sealed beam headlight in 1940 for General Motors. I believe this sign was intended to advertise this development.

Is what looks like paint splash (blue maybe) what I see or are the
marks scratches in the finish?
At the top and at safety.
