This is a globe Dave Parr found... note it has Par in it. Everyone needs to come to his show next year in April 8-9!

I got a picture of Roger cherry holding 2 great globes. Note he was wanting the 12 in. metal body globes... the one on the right is a 12 inch globe. Great globes Roger.

This is an original... yes I said original Oldsmobile globe Rex picked up. Note the next picture has the paper where the dealer could have ordered the globe for $4.50. Wish I could order one today for $4.50. LOL There was a lot of people that looked at this globe and believes it looks right.

As always it was great talking to everyone.

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

I haven't been to a show in a while so I was really excited to get to go. I loved carring on with everyone and loved the friendly atmosphere. Thanks for posting the pictures Jarvis, and I want to say I really enjoyed talking to everyone like Jarvis, Bob, Ron Bettin and his wife, Rex and his lovely wife, crazy ole Glenn, Jim Potts (glad you know who I am now)! I would recomend this show to everyone. It was worth the 500 miles I drove to get there!

Thanks for the kind words Rex. I've always liked the shows, but they have become much more enjoyable as I've made more friends in the hobby.
Rex is right about the friendships that have been forged because of this site. Everyone should take a few minutes to think of all their collector friends, and how many of them they got to be friends with because of Shop Talk.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

AMEN to that. If everyone on this site can put up with a nut like me, well, you can put up with anything.
