The Supermoon will be out the next few nights. It will be at peak on Monday--but we will have rain. I'm hoping to get some more pictures of Tuesdays' moon. These are a few images I took this evening on the waterside and shared in the Sunday post--lets see your Super Moon pic's!
If you don't know when the moon rise is for you, this is a site to find out:
https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/usa/washington-dcThe last Super Moon was 68 years ago, so for me a once in a lifetime look at the moon at it's closest.
The wider your view (like the water view we drove to) the closer to the ground the moon rise is, the bigger it looks. Also having it near something, trees, and airplane flying across, will give scale to show how big it looks.
