Hello everyone.
This is my first post and what lead me to this site is the siege of fake signs on e-bay.
I've panned through many ads for vintage signs and I cannot believe the prices they are selling for. I knew something was wrong and thanks to this community, many of my suspicions have been confirmed.
That said, I do have one sign that I bought from a junk store in Virginia. I cannot tell if it's real or not so I figured that I would see what other folks have to say about the sign.
I'm just hanging this in my garage as a decoration but I'm curious if this is the real deal or not.
Thanks in advance and I'm glad that I found this place.

I'm sorry about that. The site wouldn't let me upload a larger image.
The date on the bottom right is 3-6-59

I agree, need a larger pic. I personally haven`t noted any repro Petrox porcelain pump plates. However, new stuff is coming out everyday.

Thank you. I appreciate it.
I do have a few more signs that I'm curious about. If you guys don't mind taking a look, I will post up links to large images.

Not so lucky with these 4. They are all repros.

Thanks for taking a look. I suspected they were but wanted to confirm just to be sure. They are garage art anyway. I like the way they look on the wall.

Yea, I'm having fun with it. Having a resource like this site makes it much more enjoyable. Having signs authenticated before losing your shirt is very convenient.
Thanks again to all of you for looking over the signs I've posted. I'm glad that the Sky Chief is the real deal. 50 bucks well spent.
