How come you left coast guys never mentioned Roy Reed was auctioning his collection in Illinois next year? Aumann Auctions will hold the sale in Bloomington, Illinois next July 23-25. I better start saving my money!

Dwaine, I thought maybe you'd loan me the money to buy a couple globes. Word is Roy is going to keep some stuff.

I believe he mostly has west coast globes and not too many. I know he has a full set of SOC Flight Globes, Chevron, Standard of Calif., I only remember seeing 15-20 on display. LOTS of porcelain bus signs, All his stuff is very high quality. Dwaines probably not exaggerating too much on the signs. I saw a polly sign in CA that the guy had already turned down 5 figures on. A lot of these guys not only bought when they were lower priced but the quality far exceeds most of whats on the market today.

Larry,
Flight globes aren't that rare, but they sure are nice. Maybe I'll be able to buy one. I've heard the quality of the items in his collection are excellent.
