A couple of pictures of my GoodYear Foot and Letters made in the same style as the pegasus - I always felt they were a cookie cutter style also.
The foot is almost 6' long with about a 3"+ edge
letters are 2' high and a 2" edge

To each his own... It is slang/nickname. I personally think a cookie cutter is a Pegasus. Now if you were trying to describe Goodyear letters or the Opaline sign mentioned above to someone (say over the phone) and said they are like a cookie cutter design, that would help differentiate your description from flat ones.

But anytime I hear or say cookie cutter, most everyone knows your talking about a Peggy.

We could go on and on... Keyholes, tombstones, guillotines, etc...

Tomato Toh-mah-to... next topic. LOL. Fun discussion though.
