Gary, the best thing for you to do is go to fred's early. drop off the triler then drive over to the valley for your wine. theres a short cut Larry took last year and he said it was a snap. see ya. Randy keep him on the road.

Unlike most swap meets there was live entertainment at Fred's. Check out the "full service" hula dancer.

Fred's was a blast for sure. The Wayne 50 display case was $5,500 that was all there and he had most all the goodie's as well, & the 850 beside it was $3,500, but it was super straight like in no dings that I could find anyway. See if this will post before I go on? Elden

A killer Wayne 60 "clock-face" Wide-body done in Mohawk & how about that SWEET porcelain A-38 in Flying-A..... WOW!

The ECO-Air station lighter was $1,700 but would take $1,500 & the A-1 behind it was brought down by Slama for Gary (41again)that was there with Randy that had the super straight A-38 for sale for around $1,000.

This bash is a little smaller then last years Oct. bash at Fred's but as you can see if you took the time to look there were some goodies to be had.

As for the Hubbamister in drag............ this was a Silver Bullit dance that is a hand me down that is usually reserved for the 2-AM crowd. It was bad because he sang as well, but the worst part is he tried to hug you when you handed him a Silver Bullit!!!!! HA, HA! Elden

Pam and I had a great time as always. Did good enough in sales to add to my collection and break even. Almost got a clockface pump but couldn't find all the parts and they were major parts needed. Had a great time in the Lodi corner with the Washington guys Tom, Tim, Rick, Chris, Bill and you too Hubba. Went through about 90 bullets in the community ice chest and didn't even leave the area for 30 plus hours. What fun and enjoyed meeting new guys like Gary from Clovis and hang out with all the old guys that would be Elden , Dwaine and young Todd. Show was a little smaller but the important people were there. Until the next one. Later Ted

oldgas members at the Pacific coast Gas Bash L2R
Todd, Don, Randy, Ted, Gary, Elden, Dwaine, Tom, Tim and me on my knees in front

Heres our friend Tim Hansen with some nice Mobil goodies...The tidewater sign was Tims that got sold to the person who now owns the trademark to Flying A. Tim Brought Home the Mobiloil bottle rack with the Nice original sign on it. The globe was a NOS screw base on glass that belonged to our friend Rick that was later a partial trade for a nice big Beacon gasoline sign. Tims west coast pump plate didnt sell so it came back to WA with us.

This Veltex quart had some flaking at the top but was a neat quart.

This original speedway Globe on red ripple was neat but the body had major paint loss and it was caked with dirt and mud on the inside oh and I did see some straw too..maybe found in a muddy barn...LOL The asking price of $4000.00 was a lil steep in my opinion

The pump in Hubba's second pictures was a Hayes clock face that had a 3500.00 price on it. The seller had a couple of VERY nice pumps including the 50 display but seemed a little high on the prices, I think he took them all home with him. Had a great time can't wait for the Oct. meet.

Just got back in town from Fred's. Had a blast as usual. Glad I got to meet Randy & Gary. You two are a couple of trouble makers!! (Guess that's why we hit it off !!!!) Hope to see you two in Sept. Thanks for the marble guys!!! Ted & Pam have hearts of gold (along with a bottomless beer cooler!) Hey Ted, next time you stop for gas, pick a better part of town!!!!!! Dwaine, you sure you don't want Fred's dog? He sure liked your pop up!! HaHaHa!!! The Wash. crew was in fine form (especially Hubba!!!!!) Hubba, your stuff is safe & sound. Let me know when you want it delivered. Fred did his magic to countless cans & still found time to buy more visibles!! I bought a Tokheim 870 (Hey Gary, I might need to borrrow one of your bezel's), a couple of porcelain signs & some cans. Fred & I went out to the Alameda Antique Fair on Sun. & we found some goodies there. (Tim, I scored 5 more metal chairs!!!!! You & Sue should go out there with us sometime) That's all for now, folks! Time to unload the truck. Enjoy the weekend!!!

Tom glad you got home safe. Ice chest finally found bottom today. I guess I'll have to make the trip to Alemeda for some chairs. At least we know Santa Rosa has a skid row. Hell of a short cut. Ted

Can anyone tell me who was selling the light up clocks and signs. Couldn't make the bash but would be interested in purchasing some of them.
Thanks
