Ron, you're photos are better than Speedvision! Thanks for making us all feel like we were present. In 14 years and only missed it twice. Great photos and I love the shot with Bobby Knudsen and Roy Reed. Two great friends. Keep the photos coming.

Fellow Old Gas Readers;
I have attended the Kruse and many other large auctions back east and up north and absolutely nothing comes close to Barrett-Jackson. This show is the annual barometer for car collectors and sets the market price for the rest of the year. The colorful array of wealthy people and celebrities, the stunning southwest weather and scenery and the gorgeous West World grounds makes this a must see annual event. Barret-Jackson is the best kept secret going. Anyone who has not attended this show will put this on their must do list after their first visit. My wife tolerates the automobilia and cars as long as she can do a spa for one day and a little shopping.

Before Seth decided to do the auction again we were slated to go do BJ, our corner 10x20 was just over $3000. When you look at that plus the cost of just being there even with a Coach to sleep in and no motel to pay for, you better sell some stuff or it could be quite a bust. It looks as if there is some stiff competition there this year by the looks of the photos. Those are some really beautiful pumps. Thanks Ron for posting the pics!!

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the Richfield info. If it was near mint, sounds fair to me. I hate the 15%!!

Hi Ron, I've been watching some of the auction--- UNBELIEVABLE PRICES!!!!!!. I love the picture of YOU with the 1954 Oldsmobile concept car--- it sold for $3,000,000.00 plus $240,000.00 commission( just pocket change I guess to some people). Thanks for the great pictures. Daniel
