Also does anybody know what this was really used for? or have any info on it? I cant find anything like it. Thanks Scott

when did they stop making these with rivets?, we had some old tanks at the refinery that were made with rivets that dated back too 1923 when it was calpet.. ... cool

Randy, Yes it is only 24x10inch wide. Dang hope it was not for kerosene lol I have that sticker to. Anyway here are some finished pics of it. Thanks

Scott, I have three or four of these small tanks. You're missing a bowl shaped strainer that drops in the large hole. I'll try to find the time to dig mine out and take some photo's. I believe, they held solvent and were for washing hands.

Kerosene Pump. For filling the one gallon transfer bottles to fill your lamps and stoves - before electricity.

You can tell by the large opening for the transfer unit to sit on.
