I started collecting Petroliana about 3 years ago, but I started with license toppers. I found this site looking at others license toppers of course, but I really started looking & becoming more interested in all Petroliana thanks to all of your wonderful pieces and love for the hobby or lifestyle. So a couple weeks ago I stumbled upon this amazing can, got so excited, and knew that I couldn't pass this one up, no matter if I'm a novice. And thus starts my oil can collection I am still learning about the Mohawk Corp. and would love to know any information or history ya'll are willing to share.

Consider yourself infected with the disease like the rest or us.
And, that is one cool can to start with. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Darin, Steve, and Randy! I am sure this is a beginning of a great sickness, I've already picked up a few more cans and a canvas banner. But I am enjoying the hunt and what I can find, I'm debating if I should have a direction to my collection or go with whatever catches my eye. haha And thanks Bob, I really appreciate these links and direction for my own research of the Company, I will have to reach out to Dennis like you said. Thanks again!
