Ron - kewl Cadillac. But I like the Olds Vista-Cruiser next to your display. My folks had a '71 and I can still remember sitting in the 'way-back' facing the wrong way!

Have a great day and HTH.

Later . . .

Jim

Hey Ron, It was great to see you and meet
your wife. Did you run into DOC while you were there? As for me, I got back late last night from Fall Carlisle where the weather was great both Thursday & Friday. Saw lots of restored pumps, Coke coolers, etc. Also alot of misc. garage related nostalgia. It was a lot more stuff than a couple of years back, so interest in the hobby appears very strong. I only saw a few original globes, mostly common stuff (at crazy prices...sorta like a lot of the cars...LOL) I always find an odd ball type car for sale there, and this year the tradition continued. Someone had a Ford Pinto there with 603 original miles for sale at $3,000. It looked to be about a 1978 or 1979 model.

YES, ANOTHER GREAT 2-DAY'ER AT CARLISLE. THE WEATHER WAS NICE. NOT TOO WARM AND CERTAINLY NOT TO COLD FOR THAT OVERNIGHT SLEEP IN THE BACK OF THE PICK-UP.
THE SIGHT WERE SWEET BUT FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. I GUESS ALL THE GOOD STUFF WAS BOUGHT UP EARLIER IN THE WEEK. I DID ALRIGHT THOUGHT....DROVE AWAY HAPPY EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T SPEND MY BUDGET.
MET A FEW FRIENDS WHO SET UP THERE INCLUDING RON (AND HIS BETTER HALF) FOR THE FIRST TIME.
I WAS SORTA TEMPTED TO TAKE THAT RICHFIELS SIGN NEXT TO THE MUSTANG IN THE ABOVE PICTURE.
ON THE WAY HOME I STOPPED AND HOOKED UP WITH DON RALEIGH IN JERSEY FOR A QUICK SWAP AS HE WAS ABOUT TO SIT DOWN AND EAT DINNER. TODAY (SAT) WAS CLOUDY AND IT STARTED TO RAIN LIGHTLY JUST AS WE SPLIT TO LEAVE....BONUS!

A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ME BRO AND ME. HOPE TO POST PICTURES WITHIN A DAY OR SO.
