I'm not sure who from oldgas was there other than Besgar & Jack Sim & Mike Slama. It was such a whirlwind, I can't think of anyone else.

I was hesitant to bid online, but that one guy sure wasn't. He was throwing money around like crazy. I can maybe see big money for the Greek column, but $3K+ for a short Tokheim 39 fantasy?

The thing is, is that we had bidders onsite chasing the pump prices all the way up to the sales price from the gentleman online. They were done excellent, which was evident by the action onsite. The last couple of years, we were getting killed on restored pumps so I decided to just offer a few this year. Guess it worked. Also, couldn't believe the $6K for the air meter, but it was also very, very nice.

Jeff, I believe the Greek sold for $11 thousand plus 15% plus shipping.
Makes those two beauties that sold at the General Petroleum Museum auction in 2004 for around $7000 each look kind of cheap now, huh.

If I recall, that 36B top had the rectangular opening on the top for a station lighter. It brought a very cheap $275.
