Looks to be a decent auction with a lot of petro stuff in Arcola, IL on Sat. May 20. Anyone in that area might want to attend.

Thanks, Phil

Thanks, Phil

I went, got a sign for myself. There were three gas signs, a ssp Sinclair 36?" round, went for 400, a Sinclair Clean Rest Rooms, Windshield Service sign that had a lot of bb dents brought about 125, and I got the 36x64" Standard Service sign for 155. Good buys on the signs, but they made up for it on the pumps. I'm sorry but I didn't bother to get detailed info on the pumps becuase by the time they sold I was out of money. One guy bought the 6ft tall bowser and a 4ft tall erie for about 800 and 400, they needed restored and he was happy as could be. there was about a 5ft pump (don't remember make) that brought about the same as the erie. There were a few smalls and cans that I got outbid on. I got 5 common full tin quarts for 2.00, I'm tempted to use the oil and keep the cans for that price. Jeff
