Just a quick question for anyone who might know... I'm from Vancouver Island, Canada, and am planning a trip to the Portland, Oregon swap meet the first week of April. I read in the Hemming Magazine the show was on the Friday, Saturday, Sunday. But, I've also heard it's only on the Satuday, Sunday.Does anyone know if its is set up only on the friday, or for everyone. If I help not taking another day off work, I won't but I want to be there for the first day for sure.

Master P, welcome to the site! The Portland Swap meet is open to the public Friday, Saturday, and Sunday April 1,2,3. Thursday is set up day for vendors. Hope this helps...Mike ------------------ maslama@earthlink.net

Not sure if this will help, but this show for years was held the 1st weekend of racing for the Oregon Region SCCA. If this is still the case, make sure you plan for the traffic. For anyone in this region or the three regions around it who want to race and need to go to the driving school will make an appearance. Just something to think about. Always good to plan ahead, can be a real "bottleneck"

Eldon,Are you thinking about coming north for the swap meet?Master P,there are two swap meets running at the same time,the Expo,and the race track.The race track opens to the public on thurs.03/31,and the Expo on fri.04/01
