Hey everyone,

I am new to collecting signs and with all the reproductions out there, I am weary about some of these signs.

I have no idea if fakes were made of the Sky Chief Marine Sign, so I was wondering if you all can help me out. I noticed some have grommets and some don't. Here are two auction numbers for the signs in questions.

292285928076
152739338560

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks Randy, do you know where to find an original? I am looking for original signs below $200 If possible. I'm not sure if you can locate any. Looking to Decorate my new apartment.

If you can find an original Sky Chief Marine for $200 or less, buy them all and you will have a long line of people waiting to buy them. Texaco signs less than $200 would be the Fire Chief and Sky Chief pump plates.

Thanks Alex, what about other cheaper gas signs that there are not too many fakes of?

I would recommend you go through the eBay “completed” auctions and type in various oil company names and see what they sold for. There are lots of companies
