I appreciate our guys who have been collecting for many years. I have a large garage collection of porcelain petrolina signs. Most are fairly common. I do have two that I think are rarer and may have a greater value. The two signs are the Whippet Sign and the Cities service Sign. Both have issues. I am curious about their true rarity and value. I appreciate any help from anyone who might shine some light. I have posted a photo of each.
Ahead of time,
Thank you!
Steve

There was one of the Cities signs in the April, 2017 Morphys sale that was a bit nicer and it brought $1300.
I thought that was a little under the value but you have to consider that the bidder was looking at 20 plus percent buyers commission, so the bid was probably about right?
I would value yours around $1200 but again, that is just another collectors opinion!

That is a reflection on the bottom right side of the pic of the Whippet Sign.

I assume that Whippet sign is double-sided? You can do a search on liveauctioneers.com (sold results) to get an idea of the current auction market. Like Kevin says, you also have to factor in the BP. Based on what I see, I would value your sign around $500-700, given the condition. Here's the link to recent auction sales (sorted by price) on liveauctioneers that you can copy/paste into your browser:

the whippet & willys-knight signs are very common and not very desirable, to be honest.

jecos is dead on with that estimate, 500-700

i would also agree with Kevin, 1200 is correct (give or take 200 depending on the day)
