With that said.. yes I am going to sell it within the month. But can anyone tell me what year they think this is? http://www.newportinstitute.org/eddiedontremove/rheempump.htm Very thankful. Mike

The reason you can't find "jack" is because you don't have Jack. Jack Sim's "Gas Pump Identification" book. While my book doesn't show your pump under the Rheem section (because I didn't have any Rreem information when the book was printed) it is shown under the Bennett section. What you have is a Bennett DM-150, shown on page 67 of my book,(Shown as the EM-150 which was the same on the outside as the DM). Basically you have is a Bennett pump, made at the Rheem plant in California, it just has a different face. By the way, if you want a copy of my book, you can purchase it right here on this website. Don't go out without it. Jack Sim Author, Gas Pump Identification book

Not total sure,I have a Bennett 132 that was done for Standard Oil. It has the same kind of tag and I was told the faces were originally different than the regular Bennett pump. Looks like the same deal for yours, you’re lucky to have the original faces.
Someone on here will have more info on it.

Well Mike, welcome to the site. I guess that you finally found the "Jack" that you were looking for. Dont bother selling it, just load it up for me when I stop by in June, I'll haul it away for free. I'll even throw in lunch at Brea's Best!!!!
Just Kidding!!!!
Great pump!!!! Did you do the work yourself?

Missing a few parts [sheetmetal, bezels, visi gage, available in repoduction from "gaspumpheaven.com" or "Ron Scobie" & other online places]. Take it to Reed's Gas Bash in Fontana in late April. It will sell, unless your trying to RETIRE on your price.
RHEEM is still in business with water heaters & air-conditioning. DB

Thunder! The only good thing about your propostion is to go to Brea's Best! (I also like the HAT)
You are all very gracious to the rookie. Always owned pumps as a partner always bought them for deco but I sadly don't know a thing about them.
Curt (Poormansmuseum) thanks a million for the chat... I got in touch with John Peterson at Just for Fun (very helpful).

If Brea's Best doesn't work, we always have Imperial Burger, or In-n-Out..... Any one of them would be great.

So... I'm looking for a quick sell and a guy from Visalia calls and says he will come and pick it up. He asks... 'how much?' To which I finally started replying to people $750. His response... HE LAUGHED. I asked why are you laughing and he said... 'oh... well I'd like to pick it up tomorrow!'
What the heck?!?! I figured if its perfect its worth 1,250 but its NOT. Its good but not perfect. Soooo any thoughts... am I an asking for too little.
I do live next to Breas Best and WILL buy lunch to those who call when in town! Always nice to have lunch and make new friends. 714.501.4885.

Even through it's missing a few parts, I think $1,000-1200 is STILL a good buy. db

I'm surprised that Mike isn't keeping that pump. He has gas geek in his blood. The young girl in this photo is his grandmother at a family owned station in Yuba, CA. Talk about brand confusion? Was the guy from Visalia named "Turlock Bob"?

The guy in Visalia is a guy name Lloyd. Did get $900 after all. Thunder... I'll give you a ring here soon! At the end of the day... keep in mind we would have kept the pump but my wife and I are at a point in our life where we are getting old! (just turning 31 and she is 28 ) We just sold our restaurant 14 months ago, I have a new job, and we are tyring to cut our losses and clean up things to buy/move to a home. (We built a restaurant over buying a house during the rush!) Funny how easy it is to look back and think how bad of a decision you made. Curt... I'm glad you appreciated the photo. I am the only one in my family that seems to cherish these sorts of things! mike
