This is a double sided sign in the same conditions on both sides. The seller won't give me a price, rather, he would like me to make an offer. What would you say this ~65" sign is worth?

Thanks.

Thanks coltex. My gut had me right in the range you've provided. I offered $300 and the seller ignored me. lol. This sign must be one of those, "rare" $5,000 gems.

Before I read the replies, I was thinking $400-500, so same ballpark.

I agree with the $500 retail estimate, give or take. Just because he won't take a $300 offer doesn't mean he's unreasonable. For all we know that's what he has in it and he's trying to make a few bucks. On the other hand, I think he should at least give you an idea of where he is, in response to your offer. Joe

I figured he would respond with 500 and we'd settle on 400. Nope. He removed the listing one day and put it back online the next day. It recently went away again. Who knows. People are odd sometimes.

In my part of the country it is a $900.00 sign all day long, especially being a dealer and the striped shadow.

I share your frustration with the lack of response from the seller. Someone a little North of me has posted a craigslist ad for the same gulf sign 3 times in the last year (last summer and twice in the last month). I have responded each time (by email, the only option) that I am interested in purchasing the sign for the asking price, which I think is fair.

Never a response - just crickets.

Not sure if the seller is serious about selling, isn't getting my email or is just screwing around. At this stage, even if he were to reply, I'm not sure I would want to pursue it as I don't want to get caught up in a wild goose chase. Joe
