I know this question comes up all the time and gets kicked around. Here is the best trick and product that I have found. And I have tried all the Aircraft strippers, etc. Go to LOWES or HOME DEPOT and get the Orange Citrus stripper. Paint in on thick. Cover with plastic wrap. (this is the real trick) Let set 24 hours and the paint will pop off!! I have even left it covered for a week and the stripper does not dry out. The stuff smells good and really does the job.

Would have stripped more off but I let it sit for a week before scraping. Second coat has been applied and it is bare metal.

I usually use aircraft stripper but at times won't work well. Will try this next. Thanks

I've done some amazing stuff with this stripper. Did a set of Model t wheels that were originally black then heavy coated with yellow. Popped the paint off down to the wood first try.
