Wanted to buy original Wayne 505 window gaskets (must be in excellent condition). Tired of fighting aftermarket/reproduction gaskets that don't fit original glass. Hoping someone out there has some. Thank you.

I feel it's highly unlikely you will find good original gaskets.

What makes its hard to use original glass is the different offset of the channels of the rubber between new and original. In my opinion you would be much better off getting new glass cut using new rubber.

I found that the ones at Vic’s 66 fit much better than Gas Pump Heavens. I take the door and window rubber down to my local glass place. The $15 charge for installation is much cheaper than me getting ***** trying to put it together. Not sure where you bought yours from. That old rubber is hard to reuse most times.

Thanks for all the feedback and recommendations. I may order some from Vic's to see the difference.

Sounds good. I think you’ll be happy with the Vic’s gasket. It’s a little wider and more flexible so the corners don’t pooch out and it covers the seem better. I learned by trial and error myself.

I feel your hurt... but as I restore so many 505/605 pumps, I've ended up cutting glass slightly smaller.. ..
New rubber then for the new glass
