Like I said did not do very well tracking globe prices, many metal body globes went in $400 range, Sterning NOS w/box $675?, Ethyl Super Prem $650, Atlantic Gasoline w/scrambled egg $425. Missed pictures of a whole section I think because I can't find the Koolmotor.
Thought I wrote down Fire Chief/Sky Chief square (building/sign gobes?) large base, I think $1000 ea.
Also there in globe pump room a M/S light pole pg. 201 of Jack's book, original glass, $2000

I probably overloaded the dial-up guys,
Sorry, at least now we are on page 2.
Later,
Tok

Thanks Tok!
Sounds like globe prices were pretty reasonable if they were complete and in good condition.....except for the fake big Sky Chief and Fire Chief/ protruding star globes.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

Thanks for the great pictures, Tok!! But you've left me here in suspenders......did you get the price on the NOS Mobilheat 2-piece sign? Got one just like it about 8-9 years ago and was wondering if it's been a good investment......

I'm not sure the prices given here on the air meters are correct. I placed online bids higher than $300 so I called for verification. At least one went over $500... Ron

Hello All, back from Vegas. I could be wrong on the air meter $$ Ron, but that's what I wrote down. Like I said was fast and hard to make notes.

Richard, NOS Mobilheat sign $3900!

Some other pics including signs later.

Huh so those big star globes were fake Bob? If that's the case Ouch, had never seen them before. Were there originals??

Some of the signs:

What do you think of the Polarine sign?? Original or repro? Heavy and thick shelving, had "dimples" that looked original on the back that were kind of touched up.

Note the Citi's Service pump plate size sign in sign pic 1 that I think is a truck sign, that was brought up recently.
Also the Tex thermometer pic 4 I thought was faded but they said it was yellow for diesel.

Nice pics Tokheim. I thought the original Polarine you pictured was lithographed tin (lighter steel) and not porcelain. Maybe others can shed thoughts on it also. Looks to shiney for an early sign.

With just the picture of the Polarine sign to look at I would B passing.
Two questions:
The sign to the rite of the Polarine (Looks like a bamboo frame)...Is that a Chevron Island Sign?
Did you get the price of the Mobil oil Cabinet in picture one?

Thanks guys, I don't know what that sign is beside the Polarine (which was def. porcelain and had bake marks), and no other pic I have shows it.
Rex the Mobil cabinet was $500 w/out the cans and then they sold for quite a bit on there own.
Indian motorcycle sign, not sure, $300 give or take.
This will be the last of them, sorry if I got carried away.

May not get all the prices correct, but pretty sure it was 60 - 62 degrees in there!

Thanks for looking, cya at the auctions!!
