We are about a month away from the 32nd Annual Check the Oil Show and Auction in Columbus, Ohio! The host hotel and all exhibitor spaces are sold out, it should be a great show! There is a Ramada Inn at the same exit that should still have rooms available, phone number is 614-890-8111. Auction to be held Saturday June 23, 2018 at 10:00 am EST. ok guys ,this will be my first time going to CTO and to a gas/oil show.We will be there Friday morning,what do I need to know?On a side question,what about food?restaurants or food vendors nearby?

ok guys ,this will be my first time going to CTO and to a gas/oil show.We will be there Friday morning,what do I need to know? ...bring plenty of cash, and any extras you have to sell/trade...find me if you have any nice Gulf stuff  On a side question,what about food?restaurants or food vendors nearby? ...this is the first year at this location - but if this hotel is anything like the last one, they'll have a restaurant...here's a screen shot of the surrounding area (hotel is the red teardrop; restaurants are the orange teardrops)...

Here is the Schedule of Events for the 32nd Annual "Check the Oil" Show
Thursday, June 21st: Arrival & Evening Room-to-Room NO EARLY VENDING ALLOWED
3:00pm – 7:30pm Registration packet pick up/Spaces ready at information table
5:30pm – 7:30pm Hotel Manager’s Reception. Meet your friends and join us for happy hour!
7:30pm - ? Room-to-Room exhibits and trading throughout Embassy Suites
Friday, June 22nd: Indoor, Outdoor, and Room to Room Exhibitors – Open free to the public all day long
8:00am – 4:00pm Registration and “Check The Oil” booth open
11:00am – 2:30pm Outdoor food concessions available
5:30pm – 7:30pm Hotel Manager’s Reception. Meet your friends and join us for happy hour!
6:00pm – 7:00pm Buffet dinner (pre-sale tickets)
7:30pm - ? Room-to-Room exhibits and trading throughout Embassy Suites

Another hotel option besides the Ramada is Aloft Columbus Westerville at 32 Heatherdown Dr, Westerville OH 43081 and their phone number is 614-899-6560. Its a bit further away but a nice facility.

Are sellers going to be out in the parking lot all day Saturday, even though the auction is going on and everything tends to end early? I have to work all day Friday, and I'm reluctant to bring a fist full of cash on Saturday if half of everyone has already packed up. I went to CTO last year and it rained like heck that day and most sellers were packed up. It sucked.

Les, I found it by going to the link in the first post of this thread...it will then take you to the Check the Oil Promotions proxi page. If you look under where it will say "There are no current events for this seller" there is a box that says Show archived events. If you click on that box, you will see the past auctions with last weekends at the top.
