Recently bought this neon theatre marquee sign. There are two photos of the sign. One is a 1938 and the theater opened in 1937. The other is in the late 1940s. I’m going to get this sign repopulated with neon.

Very nice.....glad you're saving the piece and getting it working again. As a collector of 30's/40's movie memorabilia I appreciate the art deco theaters of the time and the beautiful marquees they usually had. Is the theater still standing? Darin

Neat sign figured someone would of picked up that is the sign from other side not the side shown in picture. I guess I'm right ?

My understanding is the theater is no longer present? Yes, I believe the sign is from the other side.
But cool to have old pictures of the theater 🎭
