Did any one else do any internet bidding in this auction? I left a absentee bid which indicated I had taken out another bidder and was now the high bidder. When I checked on the auction today the item I bid on was listed as no bids and "passed". It looked like the last 100 or more lots were "passed". Was anyone there and did these lots sell? I bid on lot #295.

I left absentee bids through Proxibid on 15 items. 3 or 4 of those were shown to have sold to onsite bidders. The other 11 or 12 items I left bids on all say "passed". My guess is proxibid was down and those items sold onsite.

I didnt do any bidding, but did watch some items on and off...

I observe a few items where two internet bidders were going strong and at the last bid someone onsite jumped in, "Sold" so fast that internet bidders couldnt have responded fast enough with a counter bid.

(Favoring the onsite bidders is nothing new, but does make you wonder, cant blame everything on the system. I'm just glad I wasnt one of those internet bidders.)

As said by many other before "Nothing like being there".

Usually when an item is sold onsite that will be indicated in the auction results. When an item is listed as "passed" in my mind that means there were no bids or the reserve if there was one was not met.
