Ralph, I would think that the "cops" from So. Cal. will be in attendance. A couple of other collectors from there usually make it also.

We are soooo ready to get away and down to beautiful Santa Rosa! Our booth ought to look like Ted's this year (ha - well maybe close). Seriously - on Saturday 9/8 we are auctioning off all the antiques and about half the petroliana. Gotta empty that warehouse, and that's a lot of stuff - check out the classified. So, like I said, between my grandma's passing and this, we are SOOO ready to get away for a few days. M

Everything is in place (according to Fred..) Ads are in papers, posted in usual places, car clubs notified, etc. Turn out will be excellent, all the SoCal boys will be there, good turnout from PNW also. See you in 11 days.

Tom,
It's always us big kids that are the hardest to watch. Turn your back for one second and I could be over buying another pump.

I'll be there and bringing Ken along as usuall. Ken's is VERY hungry and wants to buy since he hasn't been to a bash in 1 1/2 years. I'm told this is the Last Bash at Fred's. Is that true Tom? What are we going to do. That leaves only Roy Reeds and the other two small shows, Bakersfield and Turlock.Does anyone have an Ace High they can part with, I'd like to purchase one

Rumor Control!!!!!!!
Just got off the phone with Tom Stover and Fred is not saying this is the last one. The only way this bash would stop is if Tom Stover threw in the towel or some of the clowns that attend complain too much. I always take a twelve pack of MGD for Fred and thank him for the opportunity of being able to come. If Fred does get sick of it I would like to see it go on somewhere in Northern CA. See ya there. Thanks for the reply and update. The rest of the rumor was that Fred had sold the property.

I'm not going to be able to make it to this one, and MAJOR regret is kicking in. Such a great meet. Long live Fred and his gas bashes.
