This is probably a long shot, but I am looking for a US-51 highway sign.
I want one shaped like a shield, like the ones pictured. I would settle for a modern one, but prefer an old one. I don't care if it has a state on it or not.
Us-51 starts in Wisconsin, near the Ironwood, Michigan Upper Peninsula border and ends in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Thanks, Steve

Those were being made just like the original. I bought one years ago. I'll see if I can find the info. Dave

Thanks Dave. I also got a nice PM regarding one from a member, so thank you all for the help. I am still looking for any leads though. Obviously I prefer an old one, but any will do.

Hi Steve,
There's an antique store in Norway, MI (in the U.P.) that sold me some local highway sheilds last year, may still have some if you can track them down. They had maybe a dozen of them, I dont remember what numbers, some were embossed, some not. There's only three antique stores in Norway, its not the quilt one, one of the other two, sure you could call and check. They knew what they had, weren't super cheap or anything otherwise I would have bought them all. I was looking for certain highways too.
- Paul

Nice M signs! I’d like to find a couple M59 signs like that.

I live very close to M59 and go to a lot of auctions/ estate sales, etc. I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya.
