I was just informed by a friend of Brian Maiher, that he passed away yesterday. They asked that I post this notice of his passing in case there are others out there that are unaware. Brian was a long time collector of gas & oil memorabilia and railroad artifacts. Brian was from Carroll, Ohio and had a lot of friends in the hobby. I was told that he was only 59 years old--way too young to be leaving this earth! My condolences to all of his family and friends! Rest in Peace Brian!

I met Brian only once. At the request of a mutual good friend, he did a favor this summer and picked me up a copy of the Gas Pump Bible, at Iowa Gas - a nice gesture from someone who didn't know me from Adam. Rest in peace Brian. Joe

Brian was always fun to visit with at the shows. He seemed to be everywhere. So sorry to hear of his passing!

Thanks for posting the photo, Kevin. Didn't "know" Brian by name, but I certainly recognize his face from many meets over the years. May he rest in peace. John
